Our methodology and ethos was born 7 years ago whilst developing software for extranets, optimization consultation documents and websites for schools in the UK, now approved by the UK Government's Department for Education & Skills as a Registered Retailer for E-Learning Credits for Schools. We pride ourselves on the complete transparency we strive to achieve in all business dealings, and the enthusiasm, passion and pride with the service we deliver.

Our plans to research various methods for website positioning initially involved the creation of over 17 of our own websites for Research and Development, trialing many methods and techniques to ensure not only the effectiveness of them, but also that they fit within the "White Hat" side of search engine optimization; that is to say that the techniques employed are proven to be ethical and fit squarely within the guidelines of the major search engines.

Late 2002 saw our first clients on board for website optimization and, safe in the knowledge that we wouldn't have to "experiment" with our client's sites, our first top ten results appeared within 2 months, with the "Holy Grail" of the Internet (Google) showing top ten on a UK search within 5 months, worldwide search within 6.

By mid '03 it became apparent that (as can happen in any industry) some clients were tired of promised results within our field, full of false expectation they soon became disillusioned with the entire SEO industry. At this point we made the decision to introduce a reward scheme to our technical staff; cash bonuses every month for each of their clients appearing in the top ten of the major 3 search engines; any month they weren't - no bonus. Hence our "money back plus" offer was introduced, instilling the confidence in our clients that we have the strongest of incentives to achieve the results they were expecting.

February 2004 saw two major milestones in our company history; moving to larger premises within White Cross, Lancaster, and the opening of our overseas office in Nanjing, China.

The larger offices here in the UK were a result of expansion of our marketing, design and programming departments; ideally situated in an area of the UK that has historically low running costs, combined with the superb level of recruitment possibilities available from Lancaster University. This also saw our SEO services expand to encompass full SEM services, taking on PPC and full website management for many of our clients.

Our Nanjing office dovetails beautifully with our Research Department here in Lancaster, offering outsourcing facilities for software development. This office provides qualified staff, offices and equipment for those wishing to develop their technical requirements, at costs that mean they can compete head on with the emerging Asian market.

Our core business still remains SEO, enhanced by the cross-over of knowledge, ability and ideas that flow between our different departments which include SEM, Hosting, Design, Copywriting, Programming and Extranets for Schools.
